Our gladiator group – Ludus Auctorati – is focused on emulating the combat sport of ancient Rome. We utilize primary sources, such as mosaics, pottery, and other surviving artifacts to create the equipment, and fighting styles. The focus is on enjoying the sport, physical skills, and historical authenticity. Each day brings more insights into how the combat of the colosseum may have actually looked.

You will be able to participate in competing with other opponent in battling them in a gladiator-styled performance just like how the battles took place in 1st century Rome.
